Education Assistants (EAs):
Reading Champions – Passed any South African Language as a subject at Matric level and have an interest in reading. An NQF level 6 or 7 qualification will be an added advantage. Passed English with at least 40% in Matric.
E-Cadres (ICT Assistants) – Provide ICT Technical support to Teachers and Learners. Passed IT in Matric with at least 40% OR Hold an IT qualification or certificate.
Curriculum Assistants – Minimum of an NQF Level 4 qualification, however, an NQF Level 7 above will be an added advantage. Pass the specific subject that they would be supporting the Teacher on at Matric with 60% and above level 5-7 pass.
Care & Support Assistants (CSA) – Should be attached to a Life Orientation teacher. Passed Matric. A passion for youth care and support. Priority will be given to candidates with qualifications in Social Services, Child and Youth Care Work, or Psychology.
Laboratory Assistants – Should have a Matric certificate with Science subjects and Mathematics. Bachelor’s/Diploma with Science Subjects.
Workshop Assistants – Passed Engineering subjects at Matric level (preferably from a Technical High School).
General School Assistants (GSAs):
Sports & Enrichment Assistants (SEA) – No Matric needed. Must have a passion for sports, arts, or culture. Experience in coaching or creative activities is an advantage.
Handymen/Women – No Matric needed. A trade certificate OR experience in infrastructure maintenance or repairs is an advantage.
