How can you help with Maths in the classroom?

Maths is all about patterns, symbols, shapes, etc.

• Make meaning of the maths knowledge FIRST and understand this well before you can transfer the knowledge to the learner, otherwise you are deluding the whole process.
• All learners have the ability to learn. Help to make the learning experience rich and lasting.
• Support with the purposeful intent to impact learning. Remember, there is neither magic nor tricks in teaching Maths.
• Good practice at Maths will build confidence.
