Welcome: Community Guidelines
Welcome to TeacherConnectlounge – we are glad to have you here with us. To get started, a few things to think about:
Safety first: Protect your personal information. Don’t share your contact details with anyone, and if you see someone else’s personal details, click on the post to report it. Two reports will automatically remove a post from view and the moderation team can review it in a sandbox. If it can be put back out in the open, they will do that.
Be nice: No spamming, trolling or harsh criticism. This is a teaching / learning space where we want everyone to feel safe, heard and inspired. If you receive a response that makes you uncomfortable, please report it immediately. If it is serious, you can email us from our website or use info@ecubed-dbe.org. No one should give you their email address or phone number and all interaction should stay here on the platform.
Introduce yourself: Click on Discussions and find the one that is titled “Introductions”. There is one of these in each group. This will help you find others who have the same focus as you.
Join in: Add your stories, experiences, and ideas to our prompts and take and use the guides and resources here to help you make your classroom awesome. And ask away—there are no silly questions here in the DBE-E-Cubed community space.
Explore your community, course, or learning ideas generously: The DBE-E-Cubed TeacherConnectlounge is here for you to explore your ideas around what is going to make your experience not only meaningful and important to you, but successful.
