How to make the most of TeacherConnectlounge
Welcome to our dynamic community! We’re here to help you make our platform your own. It’s super exciting to have you with us. Here’s a handy guide to get you started:
Make sure you are logged in: The only way to respond is to be logged in, so make sure you don’t miss out on anything! If you only see COURSES, click on the three bars on the top left and select “COMMUNITY”.
Using a cell phone? When you are logged in, click on the three dots and select “add to home screen” to make it easier for you to connect next time.
Profile: To make TeacherConnectlounge feel like your online home, just click on your profile picture or name, which you’ll find on the top right side of your screen. This opens up a way for you to update your basic profile details, like your name and nickname. Completing your profile helps others connect with you.
Timeline: Looking for a brilliant post you shared or a comment you made? Or a comment you responded to? You’ll find them in the Timeline section. It’s like your own treasure trove, where you can go back to revisit all the things you’ve shared. Your ideas are valuable!
Notifications: Stay in the know with both your read and unread notifications from the platform. You decide how you want to stay connected and updated about important information. You can make sure you are notified about new responses in a discussion by clicking on the bell.
Messages: If you want to follow up on a message or send one, just head to the Messages section, which is next to your notifications.
Forums (or Discussions: Engage in interesting discussions with fellow members. Discover new and engaging discussions, keep an eye on your replies, save your favourites, and stay connected with the forums you’ve subscribed to. Remember, the best way to stay updated about a topic that interests you is to subscribe to that conversation. All you need to do is click on the bell below the title. If you don’t see the bell, you are not logged in.
