  • Research has shown that our learners are reading, writing and calculating below the expected grade levels.
  • We continue to perform poorly in all international tests.
  • Our ANA of the past informed of low levels of competency in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Our teachers complain of complexities of the CAPS.
  • Covid-19 has further dealt us another blow – due to social distancing this critical areas teaching time have being halved – these pressure points ARE EXACERBATED.
  • TAs therefore have a pivotal role to support these learning loses by supporting the Literacy and Numeracy daily.
